Romeldale CVM Ewes
My Romeldale CVM ewe flock consists of over 40 ewes currently, and as such not all are shown here though I hope to get their pictures and information posted! It is very exciting to have such a large diverse group of ewes to continue breed conservation
Iliana is one of our original Romeldale CVM ewes. She is also the oldest ewe in our flock. Her daughter Poplar is also a member of our Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Poison is a smaller sized romeldale ewe but she more than makes up for it with her fertility. She is always the first ewe to lamb. She is an excellent mother and her daughter Syanide is also a member of our Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Reeses is one of my favorite Romeldale CVM ewes. She is a gorgeous dark moorit ewe that also has alot of personality . Her dam Portia is one of our best ewes in the Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Oasis is an exceptional ewe with an award winning fleece placing very well at larger wool shows.
Portia is one of our original Romeldale CVM ewes. She is also one of the BEST in the flock. Her daughters Reeses and Stella are also members of our Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Poplar is a gorgeous Romeldale CVM ewe. She has a beautiful fleece and an excellent build. Her dam Iliana is also a member of our Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Rosemary is one of our younger Romeldale CVM ewes. Since weaning she has been a real sweetheart and has an award winning fleece.
Ariel is a great production ewe always just one of the flock. She has some beautiful crimp on her fleece with stapels that reach up to 4.5 inches.
Nypsi is a wonderfully sweet ewe that loves attention and extra snacks. She is a somewhat behind the scenes ewe not much of a trouble maker.
Sweet Pea is our only white Romeldale CVM ewe. As her name states she is one the sweetest in our flock. She is an excellent addition to our Simmonds Ranch Flock.
Oasis is one of our newest ewes even though she is not our youngest. She is exciting in that there are not many white romelales out there of different bloodlines
Annie is a full sister to our ewe sweet pea born as a set of triplets to a well known white ewe named January.
She is basically a big wool cloud with an lots of wool to share
Amore holds the honor of being the only extension dominant ewe in our flock. She also carries something dark with both of her agouti alleles
Bea is one of those production who is more than happy to hang out in the back and do her thing while you do yours! She is a grandaughter of Oceana
Bindy is a beautiful ewe. Something about her face just calls to me. I am very interested to see if this calling is a trait that passes on to her lambs!
I am so happy with Belle, she is one of the first sheep in my flock that carries swiss markings and on top of that she carries a dark second allele
Bonnie is the twin sister to Bindy, and this is very apparent in person as they are almost impossible to tell apart!
Basil is a very nice young ewe, she is also interesting in that she is a badger but is also dark enough that you wouldnt know it without looking closely!
